Announcing....

It's a GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Abrielle Koryn, AKA Little Fish, was born at 11:29 this morning! She has lots of hair, a dimple in her chin, and enormous feet! She's 6 pounds, 1 ounce, 20" long, and came out screaming, and the only one who could console her was her Papa. Everyone is doing great, and we couldn't be more thrilled.

Shelly's sister here. I just have to add my two cent's worth.

I can't tell you how exciting Abby's entrance into this world is for our family. Shelly is probably the best mom I have ever seen, and I would say that even if I didn't love her as if she was my own daughter. I have never been so happy as I was when Shelly called to tell me she was holding a special little bundle at last! I cried and cried so much that my face hurt and my skin was getting chapped from the tears of happiness, and I am not kidding. I was blubbering all afternoon and I am very sure that everyone in my little town must think I have finally lost my mind with my flying around on cloud nine! It feels like I must have found Aleksa's magic carpet and the magic came true!

Abby is the luckiest little baby anywhere with the family she was just born into. It is such a happy happening that I am bursting! I can't wait to meet her and find out if she is anything like her mama was when she was little. (I am almost 18 years older than Shelly, so I remember her as a baby very well. Abby looks a lot like Shelly did, only Shelly had dark eye brows that looked like someone had penciled them onto her forehead. She was CUTE!!)

God is dancing in heaven with our mom right now. What an awesome gift. Love, Sharon

What a wonderful new blessing we have in our hearts and lives! So amazing to have this new little miracle. Abrielle is absolutely adorable. She is very petite and she looks a lot like her mommy. And all that hair! Certainly wasn't like that with her Papa who only had peach fuzz for a while. :>)

We could hardly wait to see our new addition and Adam, Liana, and Aleksa were almost pulling us down the hospital halls to get there to see her for their first time. When they heard the news that she had been born they all cheered! Such fun! Papa has been ever so gentle wrapping his new little girl to be sure she is warm. So much fun to watch. Mama is doing so well. Her mothering skills are great in so many ways. I know she will be a well loved and cared for little girl just as the other three are. And the kids - Leksa didn't want to leave the hospital because she thinks her baby sister is so sweet. Adam is a very proud big brother with 3 little sisters to now protect and love. I already heard him tell Abri that he loved her, which is something that I have heard him say to his other two little sisters several times while we have been here. Good big brother! Liana just beams as she holds her new baby sister. She just can't get enough of her. I am thinking that Mama and Papa will be having a lot of help, good help, too!

What a joy that we were able to be here and care for the kids while Mama, Papa, and little Abrelle were in the hospital. I can not even begin to imagine the excitement there will be when they come home. Liana already announced that tomorrow will be the best day!

I am so very thankful for this new little blessing. I know there were a lot of prayers going for them and I personally want to thank each one of you for your prayers. God has been very good to us.

Lots and lots of love to you all,
Mom (& very haopy grandma!!!)

Congratulations!! So exciting to have so many new fishers being born all at once! You have been great parents to your first 3, Abrielle is so lucky (and blessed) to be moving in with your family!

I was hanging out on the couch with Dave and the laptop when I opened up your blog, and gasped loudly when I saw the announcement. Dave thought I was going into labor:)

Love from the couch!
