Ultrasound

Had our big ultrasound on Thursday! Little Fish is developing just fine, and all is well in the world. Even though I didn't get really great pics from the ultrasound to take home, I'm beyond relieved that everything is a-ok so far! (The doctor did tell me that since the 3D/4D machine was new, that they might drag me in to practice on me for future appointments... I think he felt bad that the pics weren't great... Little Fish was just not cooperating in what position to be in.

We also found out what the gender is, but the more I think about it, the more I think I'll keep that tidbit of info to myself. Enough people in real life know what it is that I want it to be a surprise for SOMEbody, and it might as well be you!! :O)

(So, all you who already know what it is, please keep it quiet, ok?

Ok. So, I can't tell them if it is a boy, and I won't tell them if it is a girl. Hmmm. Well, there is a secret that could be hard to keep. I will say this - the baby is either a boy or a girl. Anyone who wants to know for sure...call me! Sharon

Kate, I've been keeping watch over my email, but haven't seen anything from you comin' my way. Been combing through your blog to make sure I hadn't missed anything, but it looks like you're keeping things quiet over there too... WHAT'S UP????? lol!

Yup, we told the kids! And our families. And just about anybody who has held still long enough for us to spill the beans... But, since I'm a big meanie, and had always figured we'd not only not know ourselves, and/or not tell anyone else, I gotta keep it a s'prise for someone, and it might as well be my blogger friends!

I'm so mean! *tee-hee*

SOOOOOOO Glad to hear you and Little Fishey are doing so well! We've been praying for you both - and the rest of the fam as well. So we can't talk you into telling us the gender? We told the gender (helps in the gift-getting) but kept the name a secret. Can we talk you into changing your choice of secret????

There, I said it! Now, Shelly will want to kill me, but hopefully not too permanently, since she wouldn't know how to decode it!

Shelly's (dear?) husband,
John

Thankfully my hubby is a geek... Whatever code he wrote The Answer in looks rather unbreakable to me, so I'm not too worried. Now, if there are other programmers out there who can actually decipher this code, shhhhhhhhh, ok? It can be our secret! ;O)

I know which it is and yooouuu dooon't is what I was told by Shelly. Initially that is. We are thrilled that Little Fish is healthy and doing well. It is fun to see Shelly with her baby bubble, too. (sorry Shelly) But it is!

We were thrilled to find out whether it was a boy or girl, and I promise not to tell also, Shelly. (Shame on you John) You have to have some fun with it. So exciting!!!!!

Can hardly wait to meet ?????

Give the kids a big hug from Grandma!

Love you all,
Mom

I don't know What you're talking about, Grandma.... I'd NEVER say that to you. Would I? Oh yeah, I did. But only on IM though, so that doesn't count, right? Good thing it was only like three seconds later when John IM'd you and let the cat out of the bag... you weren't miserable THAT long, right? LOL

No, I wasn't miserable at all. I was just happy to know that all was well. I knew that you wouldn't have IM'd me that way if it wasn't. So when John popped on and "spilled the beans" it was kind of funny. He couldn't wait to tell. No "hi" or anything like that - just the news! I loved it!!! He has probably popped all his buttons off by now!

Love,
Mom

I am glad to hear that you and the baby are doing well. I am with JP. Can you share the gender but keep the name a secret? You have a ways to go, so we will be waiting for you to slip up!!! ;) Be very very careful!! Seriously though, I am thinking and praying for you all often. Sarah P
