Pics

This is one of my new all-time favorite pics of my kiddos. I love, love, love that Liana is wearing a shirt that is way too small for her, but she can't part with it because it has a Curtsy L on it. :O) Can't they all stay just exactly like this forever?

These are two of my colorers. I took this one from the door, and I didn't yet realize that Adam was on the step below them coloring too.

Talk about a mother's DREAM. I just LOVE that the kids are picking up books on their own and finding quiet corners of the house to enjoy them in... and it is especially cool to find them reading to each other! Such a relief to have the kids being so good lately after the rough stuff I mentioned before. Very much an answer to prayer!

Shelly,

Thank you for sharing and taking the time out of your hectic schedule to do so. We love the pictures. Yulia had a Princess shirt that she wore also when way to small, I talked her into letting us sew it up and stuff it, she loves it. It is now her favorite pillow on her bed. Maybe the Curtsy L could be one as well??? Keep us posted!

Hi Shelly,

So much action around your house. Just a quick comment and hopefully, encouragement. The contrary, negative behavior you described a few posts ago (re: Adam)is so typical when a boy is differentiating himself from Mom - especially. I'm not surprised that he is clear about the "girls" being annoying or boring. That banter is so typical I'd be worried if you weren't reporting it. It's normal and good though not pleasant.

I accidentally clicked onto the day you met them all. The transformation is truly remarkable. Wow.

Moving has gotta be one of the most stressful things in the world (next to adoption and then finding a new job). You must be aching inside because it sounds like your Dad is local to where you are now. Just a guess, though!

Stay as well as you can and God Bless you in this new journey.

Wow, those kids aren't going to run out of crayons any time soon! Looks as if Liana is a lefty like me. Nice to see everybody enjoying themselves.

Mom,

Thank you for letting us know about the move. Our girls kept asking about Adam and his new home all weekend.

Thanks Mrs. Fischer - the first!
I was wondering how their move went and am glad you reported back.

Moving is a big deal. I have a theory that it takes about two years before you feel familiar enough with a place and feel like you are really at home.

What a tease to have them local just to see them move away! I've always admired how supportive you are of your son and his wife. Wish I could say the same about my MIL.

Blessings on the relocated Fisher Family!!!! Have to agree with NJ Friend about the two year thing (faster if you find your home church sooner), but I know that God puts you where you belong, and I know only good things are on the horizon for you guys!! It really shows how well the kids have attached to you and John by how they have figured they have LOVE from/for people instead of attachment to STUFF. You are reaping a great reward of the many hours of prayer, love, work, and tears that you have invested. Please do keep us posted and much love to you all! -- Laurel in Tulsa.

Don't have time to post too much now, but we're *finally* online now. (Whew, that was a long weekend!) Thanks everyone, for the well-wishes... I'll post a lengthy summary of the weekend's doings later on. Still checking the email and seeing if I remember how to type... ;O)

BTW, we got a call this afternoon from John's bil saying that Mom and Dad Fisher got into a car accident and were on the way to the hospital. No details right now, other than both of them thought they were ok, but were going in anyway. (Oy!)
