Don't have a lot of time to sit at the computer, but in the absence of text, I thought I'd post some pics. Enjoy!

Shelly, What a pretty ring! The kids original photo's show two old, sad souls. Both of them actually looked pretty hardy, but so sad. Aleksa, I think because of her age, hid it least well and her face told the story the best (sad, lonely orphan). Thank you for being open for what God had for you. In becoming their mother, you made the world a better place for all of us. Now onto a serious topic! Jon needs to get you the matching necklace so their won't be any conflict as to who to will that gorgeous ring to eventually! Warmly, A NJ friend
I received my mothers ring for my birthday this year as well. Like yours, it tells a beautiful story of our family. Your ring will be a constant reminder (like you need one!) of the many, many blessings that God has bestowed. I agree with NJ Friend, the girls will pick out and want a piece of jewelry for themselves, upon your death of course!! Tet had chosen my wedding ring, Yules was to get my earings and then came the family ring, now Yules wants it, and they will split the earring set between them. They decided this all on their own, it didn't take long for our once desolate little orphanes to decide they like jewelry!!
Thank you so much for your continued posts as well as the before and afters. I love seeing how life, hope, love and Christ has appeared in their hearts and eyes.
Blessings to each of you!! Oh, we still need to reschedule a get toghether!!
Mom to three fabulous heart-grown kiddos; Adam, Liana and Aleksandra (Aleksa or Leks for short), adopted 8/04 from Odessa, Ukraine, and home-grown blessings Abrielle born 11/07, Brynn born 1/10, and newest surprise due 8/11...
