Eek! So sorry to those of you who left comments tonight... I hit the wrong buttons again and deleted them instead of kept them... I should know better than to try to think to do *anything* at 2:00 am while half-asleep... Please forgive me!
GOOD GRIEF!! (Sorry, sudden outburst on my part.) I meant to say - GOOD GRIEF!!! Um, Shelly, yeeeeouch, I mean, that was a trim? Oh, I mean "Now, THAT'S a TRIM!"
Your haircut is cute (seriously). I love it, in fact. Tell John to not dispair, after all, it's only hair. Sharon ;o)
Yikes, I should probably clarify about the "Abrielle Withdrawal" thing... I didn't mind that all the grandparents, etc. were holding her... I loved that we finally got to introduce her to everyone and everyone *could* get to know her. It was really fun to watch everyone snuggle her... I'm just used to having her allllll the time, so it was a definite change in the routine! :O)
I don't remember what my post that disappeared said, but I totally understand the Abrielle withdrawal thing, Shelly. When your arms are full of baby snuggles and then she is being shared with others your arms really feel empty. It was very nice for me when John stayed up late for the "first shift" so you could go to bed. I got to hold her and snuggle her then, and other thimes too. What fun! It was especially fun to watch John bowl (playing Wii) holding Abrielle while bouncing her. What a riot! He may have some new moves there to teach some other dads. Just don't think it would go over too big in the bowling alleys. People may think it a bit strange so see someone bouncing in their approach. lol
We did have a wonderful Christmas together. It was so good to spend time with everyone. Weather delayed a few arrivals and also made a few departures a bit slower, but we all arrived home safely with lots of wonderful memories.
The kids were all very good. Just can't get enough big and little snuggles for this grandma.
As far as your haircut goes. I love it! Not that John has developed a different cutting method though. ;) The end results are very cute.
Shelly, You look so pretty with your new haircut. Of course you looked pretty with it long too. You're one of those people who look great with long or short hair. Glad to hear your Christmas went well. Have a great start to 2008. Love, Catherine
You look great with either hairstyle!! I am impressed that John normally cuts your hair! I can't imagine my dh cutting mine (although I do cut his). Well the good news is that hair grows back so it's nothing permanent...and maybe you'll find you like your shorter hairdo? Who knows! I am glad you guys had such a nice Christmas.

It looks pretty cute to me! Happy New Year to all the Fisher-folk.
Shelly,
The haircut is very cute. I love it.
I'm so glad your Christmas was wonderful. I too went into baby withdrawals. DH's mother is a baby hog.
The only thing a mommy brain knows how to do at 2:00 am is change and feed a baby. Shame on you for trying to do more. lol

Very Cute!!!
When I told Matt about it, I swear the first thing he said was. "Poor John!"
It looks terrific on you, but I know how hard it is to get used to.
Look at it this way, by the Summer it will be long again :)
