ALF

So we were just writing out our newly-decided-on name a few times (Ok, so I had a Word document open and was writing it out in about twenty different fonts...) and John said, ALF! The initials are ALF! And then he got this proud giggle and said, "My kid is an Alien Life Form!"

And then, as if he always wanted one of those, he said, "It's appropriate!" Then he wandered off. (Which was probably a good thing!) lol!

APPLE

Asher (boy) or Aislin (girl)

OH SHELLY!!!
How many more months do we have to wait??????????!!!!!!!

The hard thing is that you know, if you didn't know it would be easy! lol

oooohhhh what about Amalie (french version of Emily)

I hope when 'reveal time' happens, I at least guess one name right!!!

Well, since we already have an Aleksandra, I can safely say that name is out! ;O)

Only 19 more weeks to go, you can wait that long, right?

Shelly, correction: You have 20 weeks to go. You have to go over exactly one week to have the baby on mom's birthday. November 25. Sorry, that's the breaks. Baby Fish will have to wait one more week. ;o)

I'm pretty sure Little Fish takes after its papa and Grandpa... "Never be late for anything" are their words to live by. So. Little Fish will be at LEAST a few days early. Probably a week or two. Early. Early, I say.

Oh, but not too early.
Congrats Shelly, I'm so happy for you. Oh, what about Andrea, pronounced like Andre with an AH on the end. 19 weeks you say. that seems like an awfully long time for us to find out the gender and name. you'll slip up one day. lol

Katie from TTC although I don't really frequent there much anymore, the adoption board from time to time though.

Ya know, earlier when I posted my reply about Little Fish's papa and Grandpa, I was relieved I had proofread it - 'cause I gave it away momentarily by adding a pronoun other than "it." (Hate that I have to use "it," but oh well, that's as gender neutral as English gets, isn't it?) lol! I can see this is going to be more difficult to keep Top Secret than I thought. lol!

Just have to mention that Little Fish's due date is actually Great Great Grandpa VS 's birthday!
Don't know if I had mentioned that to you before. So we will see what happens when the little one comes along. Boy, I really have to be careful not to reveal by saying the wrong thing. I will proof before I save it also.

Hi, little ALF!

Grandma can hardly wait.

Love you lots,
Mom

Love you lots,

Yup, we did know that! When we called The Van Schyndels to tell them we were expecting, Grandpa let us know that that was his dad's birthday. Kinda neat! Little Fish could be born on all kinds of relatives' birthdays - and it wouldn't even be "too" early if Little Fish came on yours or Dad's birthdays! We shall see!
